HEXAPOD ROBOT

Hexapod robot that can access to difficult area


Context


I wanted to challenge myself and program an hexapod robot. I find it cool and interesting to do that on my own. I knew that implementing the control of 18 motors simultaneously would be hard and I wanted to see if I was able to do it.

Description


I wanted to design an hexapod robot that could walk easily outside, with different types of ground. I also ordered a pan-tilt IR camera and I wanted to send a video stream from it and process the image to recognize his environment.
